Each year Chapter 579 sponsors two kids for a week at Air
Venture Camp at Oshkosh, WI where they learn not only about flying airplanes, but also how they are constructed and the various opportunities that exist in the aviation industry. Typically, one of the scholarships awarded every year is to a child whose family could not otherwise afford to send them to this camp. |
